Ways to connect

The March Quilts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about civil and human rights through the art of quilting. We accomplish this goal in a number of ways.

Our organization started as an annual art program where community partners hosted sewing sessions. Members of Bib & Tucker Sew-Op taught participants how to illustrate their thoughts about issues using embroidery and appliqué. Over the years, our program has grown and we have created a community of passionate quilters who believe in the power of art to effect change. Since the beginning, exhibiting the quilts has been an important component of the project and accessibility guides choice of location. We could not have accomplished the number of workshops, exhibitions, and quilt completions without donations and the help of volunteers. Stay tuned for more information on each of these ways to engage.
